101 Absolutely Free Kids' Activities - Part 3

Spend Oodles of Quality Time With Your Kids Without Spending a Dime

Hi Again. Welcome back to the Third installment of 101 Absolutely Free Kids' Activities.

I’ll bet that Helping them clean their room didn’t score big on the list from last week but if you combined it with rearranging the furniture it could have turned into a fun activity.

Playing a Video or Board Game affords you the chance to engage them in some friendly competition and enlighten them on the values of good sportsmanship.

Exercising together can enforce the concept of keeping active and keeping it fun. The idea is to find something that they enjoy and will follow through with.

Quiet times are for puzzles and TV watching. It will also give you a chance to engage them in conversation about likes, dislikes, ambitions. Good quality time can be had here.

So which one’s where your favorites? Did you come up with a new spin on these activities? Please share with us your experiences. Did it lead to some quality time with your kids?

Well here is this week’s list. Remember as you plan to incorporate these free kids' activities into your time together, that what is most important about quality time is what comes after. Let these fun and free kids' activities serve as a first step toward engaging your children in deeper conversations strengthening the bond you share.

     15. Pull out a box of toys they haven't played with for awhile.
     16. Build Legos together.
     17. Play with dolls together.
     18. Play store, restaurant, or ice cream stand together.
     19. Go to the park.
     20. Ride bikes.
     21. Sit outside and look at the stars.

Spending quality time with your kids is one of the most important things in bringing them up. It is through this that the bond between child and parent is strengthened, and the child begins to count on you and trust you. Parents who spend enough time with their children find that their child is doing better in school, hobbies and sports.

Check back  next week for my next installment.
